Freshwater Pearl Accessories FOR SALE!! (very affordable)

The fashion trend is pearls...pearls...pearls! All the fashion magazines are showing them. Do not miss the trend.

Pearls are classified by origin, then graded by size, shape, nacre thickness, color, luster, surface clarity and matching. These qualities are not considered equal. Some factors will be weighted to give them more influence in arriving at a final grade. A very thin nacre thickness, for example, could never yield a fine quality pearl.
Grading is relative to the best attainable quality for the type. For example, South Sea pearls, which grow in warmer water for longer periods of time, generally have a lower luster and more tiny blemishes than Japanese Akoya pearls that grow in colder water and for shorter periods of time. South Sea pearls are graded against each other, not by what would be expected for a similar quality Akoya pearl.

  • What is a cultured pearl and is it real?

First, 99.9% of all genuine pearls available for sale are cultured. Man assists by implanting a small irritant (usually a natural shell bead and/or a piece of fleshy tissue) into living oysters for Akoya and South Sea pearls or mussels for freshwater pearls. This nucleation process will stimulate the secretion of "nacre", the substance that results in the formation of a pearl.

sets can be composed of [a pair of earrings, bracelet and necklace] or [5 pairs of earrings]

some freshwater pearls have concave rings around them

freshwater pearls are not perfectly round and are sometimes dyed

necklaces are designed with colorful Mother of Pearls

these little pearls are used in earrings

Anyone who wants to buy pearl jewelries just in time for the Valentine's? Prices range from Php100 to Php1000 depending on what item. Please leave a comment.

I Thought...

I thought, as the slideshow had come to an end, that I did a good job in the video editing...
that I haven't missed a single profile in the presentation.
I thought that if ever I make a mistake, people would understand because I spent a whole week with no sleep just to wrap it up.
I thought nobody would get angry at me. I thought I could still keep my friends when all this is over.

4th of April 2009, the General Santos City SPED Integrated School's Parents' Tribute. It is when students give honor to their parents for their support and hard work. A week before the event, the coordinator assigned me and a few others to supervise the video presentations and so we immediately gathered the photos and went to work.

Alas, the most-awaited day came. Teachers, parents and students alike were gathered in KCC Convention Hall. I was excited and a bit nervous. Excited, because I finally get to show the people my video presentation and nervous because I still had to be in a dance performance with my classmates that I didn't get to eat breakfast and lunch (and I am really grateful they served dinner after the program), For short, I was stressed. I was stressed but happy because the event coordinator had trusted me enough to give me a responsibility that I was really grateful having.

After our dance number, it was my cue to plug in my flashdrive and let the people sit and watch my slideshow. I raced down the stage and did the necessary adjustments for my turn. Then I stepped back, watched the big screen with a big smile on my face (albeit still panting from my sprint) and hoped for the best reactions from the people.

The whole convention hall was lit up again and the food was served. I sat with my long time friends arount the big round table. After eating my meal, I noticed that my friends were giving me odd looks. Like I sprouted another head or something. I politely asked them what the matter was and they told me that one of my friends, Shane, was upset because her family photos were not included in the presentation. I frowned at that. Of course her family photos wouldn't be in the presentation if she hadn't passed them to me or any of the staff. And I would've explained that to her if she didn't state that she was angry, specifically at me.

I thought that was pretty unreasonable of her but we made up on Graduation Day. But things were not the same as they were before the whole incident.

I thought we could still remain as friends
I guess it was too much to ask for.
In the end I thought wrong.

The Best Day

The Best Day by Taylor Swift
I’m 5 years old It’s getting cold out
Got my big coat on
I hear your laugh And look up at smilin at you
I run and run
Past the pumpkin patch and the tractor rides
Look now, the sky is gold
I hug your legs and fall asleep
On the way home
I don’t know why all the trees change in the fall oh oh
But I know you’re not scared of anything at all oh oh
Don’t know if Snow White’s house is near or far away
But I know I had the best day with you today

this was taken at our backyard back when I was 5!
this was taken at our backyard back when I was 5!
I’m 13 now and don’t know how my friends could be so mean
I come home crying and you hold me tight
And grab the keys
And we drive and drive until we found a town far enough away
And we talk and window shop til I forgotten
All their names
I don’t know who I’m gonna talk to now at school uh uh
But I know I’m laughin on the car ride home with you uh uh
Don’t know how long it’s gonna take to feel okay but I know I had the best day
With you, today

My Childhood Bestfriend
My Childhood Bestfriend
I have an excellent father
His strength is making me stronger
God smiles on my little brother
Inside and out he’s better than nothin
I grew up in a pretty house
And I had space to run
And I had .. The Best Days with you

There is a video I found
From back when I was three
You set up a paint set in the kitchen
And you’re talkin’ to me
It’s the edge of princesses and pirate ships
And the seven dwarfs
My Daddy’s smart and you’re the prettiest lady in the whole wide world

My Dada
My Dada
Now I know why the all the trees change in the fall oh oh
I know you were on my side even when I was wrong
And I love you for giving me your eyes
Staying back and watching me shine
And I didn’t know if you knew
So I’m takin’ this chance to say
I had the best day
With you, today

Half German?? or Half British??

Who's the guy with the creepy eyes like mine?? Well, he's Marc Ebeling. Half-German, and half-American with Ukrainian and Irish and whatever blood he has in him. LAWL

**shakes head anime style**

Wondering why we took the photo together and why I am wearing a gown while holding a bouquet of really beautiful and sweet-smelling flowers while he had on an elegant suit and had an arm around my shoulders?

(Okay, so now I'm rambling. ^_^)

Well, would you believe it if I said this is our wedding picture? Nah, don't believe me... 'coz it's not!..LAWL
He was the best man for his father's and my cousin's wedding, and I?...well, I was not part of the entourage but it's cool for me. I got to be referred to as 'Princess' by the bride! Not to mention that I was a unique soul there...hahaha.. My cousin (the bride) chose teal blue as the motif of the wedding so almost everyone basically wore anything near the shade. And what made me unique? Well, as you can see in the image above, I wore a velvety maroon gown.
When I got up from my seat to pin some bills on the newlyweds' attires, my cousin whispered to me "You really look like a princess right now." Of course I smiled! Who wouldn't smile after being called a princess?~~~~Oh, maybe straight guys would not appreciate being called a princess...teehee!

So, yeah, the princess eventually summoned all her courage to ask the 'supposedly' prince to take a picture with her. And my cunning (other) cousin suddenly handed me the bride's bouquet. I was flustered and, panicking since i wanted to get this over with (even though I secretly didn't want to), I grabbed the stack of flowers and readily and steadily smiled at the camera, not without being extremely aware of the warm arm draped on my shoulders.

**Nodame-chan style drooling**

The Greatest Irony Called 'Life'

A photograph I managed to snag and take amidst all our busy schedules in our last weeks as high school students. Starting from the male and going to the right: Reymond Q., Nestle C., Shane R., Lyn Jean L., and Trina G.
These people are five of the eight members of a group called The Anim8z, and they're also my best friends! My high school wouldn't have been complete if I hadn't met these pretty hyper people. Having them as classmates and friends for four straight years is really energy-depleting! Imagine having to put up with all their bickering, the shouting, the teasing, the fights, the cold shoulders with some of them, and even the giddy giddy smiles they give you. But I wouldn't trade that for anything! Indeed, having the valedictorian and the salutatorian as your friends is tiring (with them arguing about math equations, chemical formulas and English grammar is just infuriating.). But the smile pasted on my lips is enough proof that I enjoyed every infuriating moment I had with them.
The day I took this photo, I kidnapped them from dance practice and held them hostage at the area where we always met. I didn't get to kidnap our valedictorian (Rebecca R.) and salutatorian (Aubrey P.) for the teacher has her eyes on them almost 24/7! Geez, what a life they must live. And, of course, I wasn't in this picture too. Who would get such a fine photo if I didn't have the camera in the palm of my hands?? (narcissistic much? well, yes.) So, yeah, I'm going to describe my friends for you all!

  • --->Reymond Q: well, he's the only guy in our group. And, no, he's not gay I assure you. He's just metro. (Reymond, don't kill me). He is geek number 3. He promised that he'll protect and take care of us. He has two sisters and is really overprotective of them. His favorite color is blue. He puts wax, not gel, in his hair. He is head over heels in love with Penshoppe (LOL).

  • --->Nestle C: Nessie, is a very very hyper kid. I can't even get on a decent online conversation with her because all she types is 'hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha'. Is that even normal? And she would often randomly change topics of personal conversations depending on her mood...and she does that abruptly. She has curly hair. She claims that her favorite color is black but I can see that more than half of her things are pink. She is a very religious person and you can, surprisingly, get a good advice from her when you get lucky.

  • --->Shane R: I actually don't understand this person. We have a conflict of interests..hmm...but we do agree on some other things, like when we go to the mall and we just secretly criticize just about everything! But, most of the time, we just don't get along very well. Her favorite color is blue. She is head over heels in love with MSU and her cellphone. She's the youth president of their church (Iglesia ni Cristo).

  • --->Lyn Jean L: This smart girl is my friend!! wooooh!!...she's a smarty pants, you know. She's the only one who could get me to a decent verbal battle about anything. She specializes in science and some in math. I don't know if she's emo or what..lolz.. She is a suuuuuuuuuuuuper responsible person, and she's younger than I am! She acts way older than her age, though. She has a mind of a 20-year old person! She likes the color white... She is suuuuuuuuuuuuuper religious!

  • --->Trina G: Here is someone I've known since I was nine in 4th grade. She is smart, but can get lazy sometimes. Man, this person can see through you! Freakishly true! Then, like her best friend Nestle, you can never talk to her over the phone and just catch up. Trina will fall asleep still holding the phone if you do. Crazy over purple here. She can be suuuuper dense (but not as dense as Aubrey).

  • --->Rebecca R: The Valedictorian!! She's one hell of a smarty pants! She can memorize a book! Nah, I'm exaggerating. But, yeah, she's smart! And she shrieks! Her voice can sometimes be irritating especially when you weren't able to sleep the night before and you have a headache or something. Another fact, I can't study well without her. She's always been my study partner from second year up to the 4th. She likes pink, so that practically makes her the enemy of our group color-wise.

  • --->Aubrey P: The Salutatorian! She is geek number 2. The leader and administrator of Bluz group in Friendster. She is a genius when it comes to computers and she is my co-founder in our high school's computer group, Gateway. I consider her as one of my 'bestest' friends among the group because we get along as if we read each other's minds! She was considered as a weirdo and a 'hungkag' in our class because she was so dense people doubted that she'll notice the room is on fire or something. Gradually, she learned to open up to us and is very dedicated to our group. Her fave color is blue, obviously.

  • --->Angela S: They say I'm moody, temperamental, unstable, creepy etc...I just laugh to that. It's not entirely true afterall. Oh yeah, I'm moody. I'm temperamental. I'm creepy. But I'm not unstable...grabe naman yun. I also hate a lot of things, but I do like a whole lot more! I am a perfectionist especially in the way of the words and house arrangements. I have mild to moderate OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). It's when I want to have things in near-perfection. People say that the first thing they notice about me is my eyes...and, no, that is not wrong grammar. I have creepy eyes and that makes people think I'm suplada..hahaha..I like Japanese animation (that's basically why I'm a member of the Anim8z). I like many colors: blue, black, bloody red, lavander, and really strong pink. Yes, I'm admitting it, I like pink..but ONLY super duper dark and strong pink.

Friendship is something you can't really erase completely. Even if you had arguments, think of this: What kind of relationship do you have if you just feel happy all the time? It would be a boring relationship, right? There's no thrill in that. Arguments are said to make relationships last longer and grow stronger. Life is an irony that way. So, before I get too engrossed in this blog entry and just type whatever I want and start rambling like I do now, I'm gonna stop right here...lawl

A Dream is A Wish Your Heart Makes

Okay...this one's really freaked me out since I knew about the 'Landmark thingy' last night.
Two nights before, I dreamt a series of dreams. Some were colorful, some really hazy. But there's this one that caught my attention so much that it's still encrypted in my mind.

Colors exploded behind my closed lids as the images eventually went clearer and clearer and I was able to recognize faces. People hurled past me and busied themselves with make up and the gowns. One woman, who I recognized vaguely as my Aunt Gina, thrust a bouquet of flowers to my hands.
Still clueless as to what was going on, I looked down to myself. My eyes widened for a fraction as I was wearing a very colorful and beautiful gown. I was getting married in this dream, that I realized noting the boquet and the special attention I was getting from the photographers and make up artists. The question hung around: Who was i going to marry? Was it him? Him? Him? Him? Him? Him? or HIM??

Suddenly, my mother burst through the door, her elegant white gown flowing with her every movement. She strode towards me and asked if I was ready. I felt myself smile softly at that. Okay, I was really getting married..(breathe in, breathe out...don't panic!).
I looked myself over again at the vanity mirror in front of me. (I was shocked because I looked like my 16 year old self then or maybe a couple of years older...but still.) Then, I could feel panic slowly sweep over me as I noticed that I was not wearing the proper footwear for this occasion. Sheesh, I was wearing my crocs, for Pete's sakes! I couldn't explain the knowledge I had when I talked to mom.

"Ma, I think was not able to pack the proper footwear." I announced sheepishly, gesturing towards the old crocs.
"Ano?!" Mom exclaimed, then she grabbed my wrist and dragged me towards the door. "We'll buy you a pair of stilettos at Landmark."

Scene Change!!

I strolled casually at the lobby of the hotel where the reception would take place and I found my elementary classmates and friends Marc Troi Manlapig and Bryan Tungia playing basketball. I went over them and smiled. They were just as I remembered them, comparable to Naruto and Kiba in some ways I could not explain.

"Marc, I want you to keep all of this a secret." I told Marc Troi sternly. "Okay?"

"Okay." he replied and Bryan only nodded.

Dream Sequence End

Creeped out? You bet I was! I didn't even know that Landmark is somewhere you could buy shoes from!! And I didn't even get a glimpse of my supposed-to-be fiance!!

This is the second time around..and I'll keep looking out for more....
here is what my gown looked like..

Dear Doll,
Migraine is attacking me. My right hand is killing me. And I’m super hungry!!! Here’s why.. Yesterday, I woke up at 3pm and since then I haven’t slept until now. And I’m savoring the last 2 hours of my battery life. The power’s out and it’s really humid here especially inside the room. Remind me again why I agreed that we take this blasted room, ok?
So, yeah, I just finished watching the WHOLE series of Witch Yoo-hee. It’s a romantic comedy yet I find it soooooooo frustrating!! Why? Because the male lead is nowhere near the level of sexiness of the secondary male character!!! You know, nobody beats Prince Troy and Johnny Kruger...well, nobody except Prince Gian and Rain and Kim Ki-bum and G-Dragon and Uchiha Sasuke and Hyuuga Neji and Athrun Zala and Kaname Kuran and Roy Mustang and Zuko and so on and so forth...>M<
And I’m now assigned to return Ate Jam’s USB that Larra borrowed from her. Grrrrr...I’ll wear the jacket again .*^*
Hmmm...she’s not in her room when I went there. Maybe she already went to school ‘coz they have a seminar right now.
Speaking of schools, General Chemistry midterm exam would be on the 29th. Gotta study!!!..grrr...I have to ace the exams if I want to be in the regular class in the later years. Then here’s Physical Education, College Algebra, and NSTP-CWTS. Though, in PE, I’m not sure if we’ll have a written exam or if we’ll just perform the damned ‘Poker Face’ mass demo (I hope not).
My cellphone inbox is full again! Am I that popular?? kidding! Anyway, lots of numbers that were not saved in my phonebook came flooding in my inbox and I think they’re my classmates both from here and GenSan. Hmmm... I wasn’t able to reply to any of them ‘coz I don’t have ant credit left...T__T
Mr Electricity, I implore you to come back and give light upon the shadows threatening to overcome our land! Okay, so I’m exaggerating. So what? Hah!

**Second Entry Part 2
22nd of August ’09 (6:05pm)
Dear Doll,
I’m quite in THAT situation again. Hmmmm....How to explain? It’s about a lightbulb, a Qukku, and yours truly.>M
I hope I could go home this sembreak!! I’m sick of seeing that face everyday!! I want out! No, not of the course, not. What I meant was that I want out of every situation like this. I mean, she’s really stupid, because she calls everyone stupid. She thinks everyone is inferior compared to her ‘amazing’ personality, and that she could have every man she wanted. I mean, did she go here in Palawan to study or to ogle and flirt with the boys?
I remember during our first day here she immediately went on a mission to see if there are any boys suitable for her ‘beauty’. Notice the apostrophe marks, they are significant signs of sarcasm. Now back to the topic. I was really but figuratively seeing red when she reminded me not to entertain boys, and that our goal was to study first. What!? That’s bullshit! I mean, she told me that!? She should’ve looked at herself first before targeting me.
Oh yes, I’m angry right now, that’s why I’m writing in long and complete sentences. I’m so angry that Taylor Swift songs are not registering in my mind even though they’re already in full volume and playing in shuffle with Parokya ni Edgar and Linkin Park. Yes, I’m definitely angry. Just look at the LONG, that made me laugh...but not out loud, never out loud.
I just had a bath and I’m still in nothing but a skimpy blue towel...hahaha...I’d Lie by Taylor Swift is now playing. I like that song very much!! Well, one can really relate to the lyrics and I’m sure Taylor experienced this personally. All her songs are written by her and thay are based on her personal experiences. How do I know? She said so herself.. and it’s pretty much obvious. Her songs are somewhat linked to each other. Like, Fifteen, Love Story, Our Song and Crazier all pertain to being young and in love. Teardrops on My Guitar, You Belong With Me, Breathe and I’d Lie are for when she loved her friend who, in turn, loved another woman..and Taylor cites the things she can do better than the other woman. Then there’s Picture To Burn and Forever and Always. They’re more like angst towards an unsuccessful relationship. Joe Jonas! You suck! Gay bastard!!
I’m contemplating going out to dinner by myself. I haven’t eaten anything today! *shocked* See, I’m so hungry I’ve had a lot of typos in this sentence than I ever had in my entire life. So ciao for now, gotta go have some chow! Wow, that rhymed!
